Apr 11, 2018 · The Butt Hut’s name certainly raises an eyebrow but I’m happy to report the food is fantastic. The counter-serve restaurant is close to historic Natchez on the other side of the Mississippi River and is worth the 7 minute drive to check out.

The Butt Hut was opened in June of 2014 by John and Malan Parks, owners and operators of the Magnolia Grill and Pearl Street Pasta in Natchez, MS. In June of 2017, after 3 years of developing and refining their vision of the perfect barbeque restaurant, they handed over the reins to their nephew, Dane Reeves and his partner Christopher Patterson.
